Makeover

Notice anything new?  My Blog got a makeover!  Sweet Karen over at Karen Valentine Design helped me out and created this beautiful new blog for me to play with!  Thank you Karen! I’m loving it!

Ashamedly I must tell you I had been away from my booth for a little too long and when I went to check on things this is what I found!

Isn’t that just grand!  Someone spilled their coffee or chocolate drink all over one of my displays and it had dried up.  The lid was stuck to the teapot and the pot was stuck to the stand!  Same with the soup tureen.    It was just a mess.  This is why there is a sign posted about no food or drinks on the sales floor.  People! Humph!
Oh well.  It’s all cleaned up and made pretty again.
And just in time I might add –

Because my Blogger friend Bernideen from Bernideen’s Tea Time Blog stopped in!  What a surprise and a nice visit we had.  If only I had some tea brewing, I would’ve loved to have shared a cup with her.  I used to love to go to her tea and gift shop in Old Colorado City.

In honor of being able to visit with my friend I’ve decided to share some of the things that were bought from her store over the years.  Most of these were gifts from my Sweet William and are still in use and/or on display in my “tea room.”

These are just a few of the things.  Yes, even the Harney’s Paris Tea and the bird drip catcher.  I was like a kid in a candy store.  Had to have self-discipline when I went in there.  Hehe.  I wanted all of it!

I am linking up with Bernideen for friends sharing tea!

I have never seen this blog and didn't remember this name unless it is new. Quite a few bloggers use their blogs to promote their booths. Sorry about the naughty coffee. When we closed our store we found tea stains on all the table linens too. This was sweet of you even though I looked terrible! Have a great week. I always check out your booth.

  2. I did change my blog name several years ago. I was Jocelynes Tea Parties but I wanted to incorporate more then tea blogging and felt with the name I kind of put myself in box. Mon petite Chou Chou is the name of my booth and I feel I can ramble on about whatever on my mind now. Including my love of tea!

I see you don't have the correct address for my blog in your favorites which is why it isn't showing up. I changed it several years ago. It is http://blog.bernideens.com for my Bernideen's Tea Time Blog. Also, if you are on Facebook I am at Bernideen's Tea Time, Cottage and Garden. Good to see you!

  4. Hi Jocelyne,
What a wonderful visit you must have had with Bernideen. I have never met her in person but I feel as though I know her because we have so many things in common. All those pretties you acquired from her shop are gorgeous! I must say it would take a good deal of self control on my part too had I visited her lovely shop. Thanks so much for sharing and have a lovely day.

    Autumn blessings,
    Sandi

  5. It's always fun to read about blogger meet-ups! Your teawares from Bernideen's store are lovely. I would have trouble restraining myself too!

  6. You were one of my featured blogs this week. Don't know if you are on Face Book but my page is Bernideen's Tea Time, Cottage and Garden! We closed on our building yesterday!

Hi I'm Jo!

Welcome to my blog!  I write about my own experiences in my walk with Jesus.     I am saved by the grace of God through his son Jesus and filled with the Holy Spirit.  I sit in the seat next to you at church. Praising, worshipping and learning right by your side.   If I am not in the service, I most likely can be found cooking up something in the church kitchen.  Come along with me and worship the Lord!  Let us exalt His name together!  If you’d like to receive notifications of new posts in your inbox, please leave your information below.
