I’ve been working on this Sweet Little Lap Desk to sell in my booth and
now I’m having a hard time parting with it! It was a Goodwill find from about a year ago,
left sitting in my stack of things to make pretty.

It was dark green, from the 70’s, I think, because it also had a mushroom painted on the front. It was lined with green and yellow plaid fabric. I didn’t take before pictures, sorry. (It was quite ugly anyway – you didn’t need to see it!) I used an applique from Do It Yourself Chic. They are so easy to use.
I love love love how it turned out.

I used Mod Podge to apply beautiful scrap book paper to the inside
and then added the very cute little faux lock.
Do I keep or sell it? Decisions, Decisions.

This is really pretty. I love what you did with it!
It is pretty!! As for keeping it, if you love it–keep it. If you won't use it, let it go. I'm not much help, am I?! Hope you are enjoying our fall weather. I love the cooler days!♥♫
Oh, so pretty! You did such a good job transforming this little lap desk. I can SOOOO identify with not wanting to part with something after you've/I've put heart and soul into it. My kids seriously think I've become a hoarder. LOL! Warm Hugs,
You did a great job! Totally changes everything! Thanks for linking!
I love your lap desk and I would consider keeping it because it is such a unique piece. Thanks for commenting on my blog about my autumn banner. I am your newest follower! Hope you visit again and consider following me back.
Oh sweet friend…it's YOU I needed to hear from…not the other way around. Thank you for coming by.
Now girly…I love your desk. What a fabulous piece. Might just be a keeper!
Love to you. Rebecca
Hi there:) So glad you stopped by my blog and decided to follow along. I am now following you and I look forward to getting to know you better. You're right, we do have many things in common and since we have both put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ, that would make us "sisters" in the Lord 🙂 Have a wonderful Sunday!
Hugs,
Stephanie
