Early Autumn Leaves in Colorado

“Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering from the autumn tree.”  Emily Bronte

Most people I know go to Vail or Breckenridge Colorado for the snow and skiing.  I go in the fall for the breathtaking views of the turning aspen trees.

My Sweet William and I took a long drive through our mountains last weekend.

We drove along Highway 24 through Leadville and Minturn on our way to Vail.
A little road construction detour lead us along an old highway lined with Aspen.

 It was simply breathtaking.
Back on to the main road again you could see the patches of yellow in the hills.
Somewhere between Leadville and Minturn we just had to pull over and enjoy the scenery.

Please enjoy it too…. I’ll be quiet.

The reflection of the trees made the water look golden too.
I love fall, this place took my breath away.  So much to behold…

Hi I'm Jo!

Welcome to my blog!  I write about my own experiences in my walk with Jesus.     I am saved by the grace of God through his son Jesus and filled with the Holy Spirit.  I sit in the seat next to you at church. Praising, worshipping and learning right by your side.   If I am not in the service, I most likely can be found cooking up something in the church kitchen.  Come along with me and worship the Lord!  Let us exalt His name together!  If you’d like to receive notifications of new posts in your inbox, please leave your information below.
