Encouraging and Equipping Women through Biblical Discipleship

Show Off

I just have to show off one of my b-day presents.   Some sweet friends of mine gave this to me

Isn’t it gorgeous?  I just love black tea cups.   There’s something regal about them.

I know I have seen posts about some of these black beauties before, I just don’t remember who it was.

It is gorgeous from every angle.   If K & M are reading this – Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!  I love it!

It is Royal Albert, copyright 1975, Provincial Flowers, Pitcher Plant.

Now my other black beauty won’t be alone.
It too is Royal Albert, but that is all I know about it.   I searched it out before and didn’t find any other information.   I purchased this one at a Antique and Collectables store in Seattle.

If any of you have more info about it please share.  I’d like to know.  It is different from the 1975 patterns in that the saucer does not have a white middle, it is black.

Happy “Tea” Day to all.
John 1:16 (Amplified Bible)

For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift.

I am linking up with the following tea parties today:

  1. Jocelyne, your new teacup is stunning and so is the other one! Black is always lovely and what a lovely birthday present from your friends! I'm so happy you have shared this with Tea Time today and I enjoyed the scripture verse you shared too. Wishing you a delightful day, my friend.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  2. Hello Jocelyne, your new birthday cup is so gorgeous! I love the pitcher plant, and it looks fabulous on the cup.

  3. Hi Jocelyne,
Your teacups are both very pretty!

Thank you for your kind words on my blog today.
A trip to P.E.I. would be a lovely way to celebrate and yes if you come by all means send me an email beforehand and we can pick a time for you to visit.
    Take care,
    Carolyn

  4. Your black pitcher plant birthday teacup is beautiful and so is the other dogwood teacup. I can't wait to add a black teacup to my collection.

Since I'm originally from Toronto, I'd love to have the trillium Provincial Flower cup.

  5. hi Jocelyn, thank you so much for coming over to my blog. I do believe we are the 23 follower of each other. Does that make us special? Of course it does. lol.

Your blog is great and I love the black tea cups. The columbine dinnerset was such a result for you. I would have been jumping around all the place. Isn't it great when you manage to get something that you have been looking for.

    Love Jo
